Radio Production (February 2023-May 2024)

Project Overview

KSFS Radio is a local student-based radio station at San Francisco State University. I was apart of the station for a year and a half with both production and talent.

My Contributions

I've produced three (3) different shows with my time at KSFS radio: Behind the Score, The Riot Report, and Midnight Drive. Each having a different topic and flow. I was a writer, producer, editor, and talent for each of these shows. I also had a contribution outside of the shows themselves, as I was involved with upkeep of the radio station along with the other students. We learned how to professionally and efficiently manage the radio station and all of it's gizmos, gadgets, and other machines.

The Riot Report

Radio Show

August 2023-December 2023

My personal favorite show that I've done is The Riot Report. It was a talk show where I would talk about everything relating to the Riot Games company. They have produced multiple games including League of Legends, Valorant, and Teamfight Tactics. My show would cover news and updates regarding the games while also allowing listeners to input their own thoughts and opinions via our stations live chat feature.

I wanted to talk about something I am passionate about and I am passionate about Riot Games. I love their games and I wanted to be able to create a space for those who are as passionate as me. Creating a space the that can be shared within the community is something that brought me joy. During the show run, I ran a website and social media page that updated every week with a spotlight for different artists and content creators. My ultimate goal for this show was to be able to have a space for people who share my passion and bring them together along with spotlighting the community.
